Birmingham City were caught in the crossfire as Bill Belichick roasted Tom Brady on Netflix.
The Blues were relegated to League One on Saturday after their 1-0 win over Norwich proved not to be enough to save them, earning themselves a spot in the third tier for the first time since 1995.

But as Birmingham fans were still licking their wounds from a weekend of heartbreak, their co-owner, NFL legend Tom Brady, was getting roasted on Netflix - and the Blues got a... special mention.
Netflix's latest edition of "The Greatest Roast of All Time" saw seven-time Super Bowl Brady being ripped into by a number of big names, including Kim Kardashian and Will Ferrell, with the latter also reportedly following in Brady's footsteps and buying into an EFL club.
But the one Blues fans have taken notice of was Brady's legendary coach at the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick, as he jokingly tore into the club following last weekend's relegation.
Addressing Brady whilst on stage in front of a large audience, Belichick said: "I see your soccer team Birmingham City got knocked down another tier in the English Football League, so you know.

"For those not familiar with English football, thanks to the intricacies of their obscure regulations system, just let me say, or I'll put it in English for you, they suck!"
The audience then burst out laughing, with Brady also left with a huge grin plastered across his face.
He then appeared to respond, off mic, asking: "Do you want to coach them?"
But Belichick carried on, adding: "Not so easy to run a team is it Tom!"

Brady could only smile as he took in the good-natured dig and the rest of the room cracks up once again.
Brady and Belichick won six Super Bowls together with the New England Patriots, dominating NFL for two decades.

However, their time together ended on slightly sour terms, with Brady wanting to stay with New England in 2019, only for Belichick to believe the ageing quarter-back was past his prime.
Brady then went on to win a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, retiring there in 2022. Meanwhile, Belichick departed the Patriots in January this year, marking an end to his 24 years there.
There had been plenty of stories regarding the friction between the pair in recent years. No wonder fans were thrilled when they heard they would be reunited for Netflix's hit show.
Meanwhile, Blues fans have also seen the funny side to the NFL legends' banter.

"Bill Belichick taking the piss out of Birmingham City for being relegated at the Brady Roast," one fan wrote on X. "When we win the Champions League in 2030, this will be the first clip in the winners story montage."
Another said: "We are massive!!! Keep Right On."
Brady entered into a partnership with US-based Knighthead Capital Management LLC, who completed the takeover of Birmingham last August. They own 45.64 per cent of the club.
